Participation in World Mission is becoming an increasing priority and the Church partners with Mission personnel in a variety of countries.

Our World Mission can be found on the Church of Scotland website and is as follows:

"We work in countries around the world, usually on the basis of partnership with local churches and institutions and always with a view to involving church members in Scotland in the development of the work.

The cultivation of two-way partnerships between congregations overseas and congregations in Scotland is not only a matter of creating friendships and expanding horizons. It is a way of giving effect to the great themes which mark the Church’s engagement with the world at this time: evangelism, reconciliation and combating poverty."

We are also supporters of TearFund, which is a Christian relief and development charity, passionate about seeing God’s justice here on earth. Their vision is to transform the lives of millions of the world’s poorest people in a positive and sustainable way.

The Mission Aviation Fellowship aims to multiply the effectiveness of the Church using aviation and other strategic technologies that overcome barriers in reaching the world for Christ. It is a dynamic worldwide partnership, whose purpose is to speed physical and spiritual care to people in places of deepest human need, especially remote places where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline.
